Carlos Peña is a Guatemalan singer song-writer who won critical acclaim after winning the second edition of Latin American Idol in 2007. He moved on to record his first record breaking album “Con Una Canción,” which reached double platinum in its first 24 hours after it’s release, positioning him as the most successful Latin American Idol artist.
He has been a part of the Movistar Fest tour in Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Panama sharing the stage with Alex Syntex, Moderato, and Reyli. In addition he went on a world tour singing alongside Latin Grammy Winner Anahí, performing in countries such as Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Spain, England, Poland, Argentina, Mexico, and Brazil.
After Mr. Peña’s Latin Ameican Idol win, the success of his first two albums and multiple tours, Editorial Santillana-Aguilar launched the biographical motivational book “Queonda with Carlos Peña.”
