Shahrooz Nia began performing stage and close-up magic in London at the age of 17. It was there that he developed his signature style, captivating nightclub audiences with six-minute illusion acts performed center stage under the spotlight. Each performance left guests eagerly anticipating what would happen next, quickly establishing Shahrooz as a standout entertainer.

His growing reputation soon led him to some of London’s most prestigious West End nightlife venues, including Xenon and the legendary Hippodrome, owned by the renowned Stringfellows organization. Not long after, Shahrooz relocated to the United States, where his talent continued to open doors. He became a featured performer at two of Los Angeles’ most respected magic venues: the world-famous Magic Castle and the Comedy & Magic Club.

Today, Shahrooz continues to perform internationally, bringing his unique blend of illusion and theatricality to audiences across North America, Asia, Japan, Europe, and aboard luxury cruise ships. He remains an active member of both The Magic Circle in England and the Magic Castle in Hollywood, reflecting his standing within the global magic community.

Dedicated to pushing the boundaries of his craft, Shahrooz developed a futuristic, robot-inspired stage act featuring custom-designed illusion props constructed from cast acrylic, also known as Lucite. This creative pursuit sparked a second successful career as a designer of high-end acrylic furniture and sculptures. His work has been featured in luxury venues and designer showrooms, including the Wynn and Encore resorts in Las Vegas.

Over time, Shahrooz merged these two passions, incorporating his acrylic artistry directly into his illusion performances. The transparency and elegance of acrylic create a striking visual experience, allowing audiences to witness seemingly impossible feats while enhancing the mystery and beauty of each illusion.
