Goran Bregović is a highly-acclaimed international composer and musician who weaves together traditional styles from the region where he grew up, experimenting with genres from Romani to Klezmer to classical, incorporating traditional chants and infusing electronic music while maintaining a distinctly Balkan identity in his sound.
Fanfare Ciocărlia, the Romanian kings of Balkan brass, are best known for high-energy performances with complex rhythms and their uniquely Eastern European tone. Making their Luckman stage debut, the admired ensemble will play selections from their greatest hits and mark their 20th year of making music.
