For over three decades, the iconic New York City institution Jazz at Lincoln Center has shared the distinctly American art form with audiences in nearly 450 cities and more than 40 countries.
The ensemble returns to The Luckman with their new production, Sing & Swing, celebrating the Great American Songbook in all its playful and sophisticated glory — brought to life by a who’s who of New York all-stars.
Led by the prodigious trumpeter-vocalists, Bria Skonberg and Benny Benack III, the production re-lives and re-imagines some of the the genre’s most classic artists, including Ella Fitzgerald, Judy Garland, Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Peggy Lee, George Gershwin, Duke Ellington, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, and more.
