Luckman Intimate Theatre
Wayfinding is an experimental video/music project by Los Angeles-based visual artist, filmmaker, and musician Terry Chatkupt. For the Luckman Intimate Theatre, Chatkupt will present this new series of work inspired by the Southern California landscape. Accompanying the screening of videos will be a live guitar performance from selections of the artist’s solo music project,
Terrain.
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Terry Chatkupt received his MFA from the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) in 2004.  His videos, installations, and photography have been exhibited at LAXART (Los Angeles), Jerome Zodo Contemporary (Milan, Italy), REDCAT (Los Angeles), Harris Lieberman (New York), and Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions. Screenings of Chatkupt’s film/video work have been included in programs at numerous venues including MoMA (New York), Centre for Contemporary Art Luigi Pecci (Prato, Italy), Seattle Art Museum, Art Basel Miami Beach Video Lounge, and the PDX Film Fest (Portland, OR).
